Create bingo sheets for Italian word numbers with randomized numbers from a range and turn practicing Italian numbers into a fun game with this randomized bingo sheet generator. This is a great way to test knowledge of Italian word numbers as well as promote listening and recognition skills.
Italian word numbers can be difficult to understand as they are structured differently. The structure for numbers 11 - 16 follows the same rules as English word numbers, so fourteen is four "quattro" + teen "dici" = "quattordici". For numbers 17 - 19, the words are flipped so seventeen becomes ten "dici" + seven "sette" = "diciassette". Whereas in English word numbers the ten and the unit are separated words (e.g. thirty two) in Italian the words are compound words (e.g. trentadue). It is possible to attempt to directly translate Italian numbers but there are many other rules that need to be followed, "trentadue" for example is "trente" + "due", but the "e" is replaced with an "a". For numbers over one hundred, the unit suffix works the same as in English, but as a compound word, e.g. "trecento" is three hundred. These bingo worksheets will not only make remembering Italian word numbers easy, they also make it fun!
You can create your bingo sheets from a huge range of numbers. This means you can start simple with numbers between 1 and 100, however to make things more challenging, you can advance to numbers up to 10,000 or even 1 million!
First, choose the range for your numbers (e.g. between 3,300 and 4,000). Then, select one of the following grid sizes: 3x3 or 9 numbers, 4x4 or 16 numbers, or 5x5 or 25 numbers. Randomized numbers from the range you requested will then appear as Italian word numbers in the bingo sheet.
If you would like to randomize the individual squares in which the numbers show up, please select “randomize number location on different sheets.” The same Italian word numbers will appear on each sheet, with or without the individual location randomization.
Randomized number location on different sheets means that the same numbers will appear on every sheet but in different locations. Your bingo sheets will be ready to print.
If you would like to choose the exact numbers you’d like to enter in one of our grids, we have another resource to do this.
